IN THE

WORK PROCESS

In my artistic work, I create plates from black porcelain, which I prime with white engobe in an largescale process.

The porcelain plates serve as a drawing surface for my floral motifs, which I render using the sgraffito technique .

ARTISTIC STANDPOINT

Again and again
I am full of amazement
at the beauty, that nature has to offer.

Flowers have been close companions throughout my life.

In quiet moments, I sit in the garden and try to capture the beauty of the flowers in my drawings.

I am particularly interested in the form and momentary appearance.

SGRAFFITO TECHNIQUE

In my drawings, I reduce myself to the most important lines in order to represent form, plasticity, and beauty.

This creates a very intimate moment for me, which I like to share with others.

Through a lengthy development process, I have found my artistic form of expression using the sgraffito technique on porcelain to hold on to these moments.
